BTR was founded by William Orlowski, Tim Eilers and John L. Roe who moved their division of MF Global outside the firm. Seeking to build an execution focused brokerage firm with a world-class trading infrastructure, the team set up shop across the street from the CME’s original headquarters in July 2010.
